Envision this…
It’s a beautiful day, you’re out on course standing in the 1st tee box preparing for your shot. Sun is out, and you can feel a low score happening today for sure. You step up to the first tee box, a few jitters as everyone watches, but you picture your shot down the middle of the fairway and long. You set up and take your swing! The ball flies but as you watch it takes a hard turn and flies out of bounds. Not what you had planned and every ounce of your being feels the disappointment.
You set out to impress your peers on the course, but instead are doing your best just to get through the day. You continue playing with a good shot here and there, but you just have far too many poor shots that ultimately destroy your round. It’s not really an occasional bad shot, it is more the whole round and your overall score that has you most preoccupied.
Confused and frustrated, you think to yourself … I’ve been practicing. I’ve taken lessons and been playing but I still don’t seem to be playing much better, at least not to the level I think I’m capable of. I know, I can do better. Something must be missing, but what?

In spite of our efforts, we continually find that real progress is very allusive. Even the local pro falls short in their efforts to help because to make progress you’re going to have to train smarter.

Fitness trainers understand biomechanics and how your joints and muscles work, as well as how to build progressive improvement plans. Through movement and golf swing screenings, we will show you exactly how you can improve efficiency to make your swing more consistent and improve your ball striking. This will likely be the first time anyone has considered how your body works in terms of stability, mobility, flexibility, range of motion, strength and balance and how these translate into your swing. From this comprehensive screening we will build specific training plans to close any gaps and make your swing more efficient for your body, and improve your strength and power.
Your training will include training plans, one for daily exercises designed to get your body moving the way it needs to and a second with specific golf drills to do at the range to help you translate these movements into your swing. This is very different than going to the range and pounding balls without purpose or intent. This is training for results. This is how pro’s train.

This is the same methodology used by PGA tour pro’s because it works, 18 of the last 20 majors were won by Pro's who trained with a TPI Certified expert. This approach, combined with our strength training and corrective exercise, is sure to improve your stability, mobility, balance, strength and power which are the foundation of a powerful and consistent golf swing. Golfers are always looking for ways to improve but unfortunately many turn to quick fixes that fail to understand the connection between your body and your swing, which limit their results. These are some of the main questions and concerns people have had in the past.
Sounds comprehensive, will I have time for this training?
Our evaluation and training plans stream line the improvement process because they take a measured approach to focus you on the specific things you need. This is not an effort to revamp your entire swing but rather to make your body and swing more efficient together. We are certified and employ the methods used but the Titleist Performance Institute. These are the same methods used by tour pro’s.
Do I really need this, can't I learn this on my own?
Golf is certainly about self discovery and we applaud you for making the effort to understand your swing and improve. However, by taking advantage of proven approach you can save both time and money in the long run. As we've said 18 of the last 20 majors were won by players advised by TPI certified experts.
If I am taking golf lessons do I really need Golf Fitness training?
Most golf lessons consist of verbal coaching, occasionally some video and maybe a comparison to a tour pro so you can see how your swing is different from theirs. The problem is most of our bodies can not move like professional athletes on the PGA tour so it stands to reason your swing has to be different. By better understanding your body you will be able to develop a swing that you are capable of executing and repeating. Your PGA professional should be supportive of this effort because it gives them more information to work with. As Titleist says, there is not only one efficient golf swing, but rather each body has a most efficient swing for it. Our evaluations and training plans are designed to help you develop your own efficiency.
I’ve not heard of you guys, why should I train with you?
We are certified by the Titleist Performance Institute and have helped many others. In addition we are specialists in developing strength in adults as well as seniors. Our methods work and everyone who has trained with us has gotten stronger. Yes everyone. We offer increased strength and endurance, coupled with Golf mobility and power.
Will this cost a lot of money?
Our prices are highly competitive and our training delivers the training you need to improve you game. Not only will you become a more competent golfer with better understanding on how to improve, but you will also be building strength and power which is something most adults need more of.
